International Women's Day with Jane Fardon

The last 2 months at Entrepreneurs Ladder have been exceptional, It's our great pleasure this month not only to have Jane Fardon but it's a month of recognition for women all over the world with International Womens Day http://www.internationalwomensday.com/default.asp

Jane is just one of the great women in the world!

About Jane:

My grandmother was a fashion artist and writer for 'Vogue' in the 1930s, and my great aunt was a textile designer - so you could say that colour and fashion are in my blood!

I have always had a love for colour and a fascination for the dramatic effect that the right colours can create on a person, changing how they look and feel. At Art College and then university I studied Education and Art. In 1992 I went on to train with a leading image consultancy in London, qualifying in colour and style analysis as well as make-up application. I have worked as an Image Consultant, with both private and corporate clients, ever since.

In my work as an Image Consultant I was becoming increasingly frustrated that high quality products were not available at an affordable price, nor was there always the right colour or shade for every client's look. I wanted to be able to give them products to complement their colouring as well as offering the best quality and value.

Clients were also frequently disappointed to discover their favourite colours and shades had been discontinued as fashion trends dictated manufacturers' ranges.

Eventually frustration led to action and, encouraged by my clients and husband, I set about designing my own range. Jane Fardon Cosmetics meets the needs of every skin tone, eye and hair colour. We will offer a selection of colours and shades that you can rely on - when you find a colour that suits you, you can be confident it will be available for years to come.

Whilst no two women are the same, we all share the desire to look good and feel at ease with ourselves. The image we want to present depends on our colouring, age, life style or maybe just how we feel that day!

We need cosmetics that have been designed to celebrate our individual colouring and have the versatility to fit our every mood. At Jane Fardon Cosmetics careful attention has been made to create beautiful shades that complement your colouring and help you achieve a variety of looks.

My husband Nick, a Hospital Consultant, has worked with me on this exciting journey. His research has helped me to achieve the best formulations that apply easily, last all day and care for your skin. All products are hypo-allergenic and not tested on animals (or husband!).

As women we also want to feel special and pampered, so it matters that the products we use speak of the highest quality, but at a sensible price! Good quality does not need to cost the earth - with this in mind, our compacts are refillable - making them kinder to the environment as well as to your pocket!

We are really proud that our cosmetics are made in the UK.  Not only does this dramatically reduce their carbon footprint, but it supports our manufacturing industry.
